GMA Design Group, Inc. is a professional association that specializes in architecture, planning and interior design. Founded in October of 1999 by Richard R. Arnoldy, Jeff Cook, Steve Holste, Dave Allen, Greg Albers and Pat Clements, GMA Design Group has grown to become one of the nation’s most respected and well-rounded design firms.

The partners began the practice in a small office space in Tampa initially concentrating on circuit board manufacturing facilities and small commercial projects. One of the firm’s first major commissions was Jabil Circuit Facility in St. Petersburg, Florida. However, it was not long before GMA’s substantial growth and expanding job list lead to the need for larger quarters. By January of 2000, GMA Design Group became the primary designer for Jabil Circuit facilities, both nationally and internationally.

In April of 2000, GMA was awarded several other national accounts in conjunction with The Murray Company, ARCO Beverage Group, ARCO National Construction and R.W. Murray Co. From this point, the company expanded its expertise in niche design markets across the country and grew to be the innovative and accomplished team that it is today. Today 25% of GMA’s work consists of beer distribution facilities.

GMA Design Group, Inc. is now headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri and is a division of ARCO Holdings.
